Problems with new EULA

Tonight I decided to use DIM to install DAZ Studio 4.10. I kept getting messages saying I needed to agree to the User Agreement (whatever you want to call it.) What the heck? I've been a customer from the beginning. So I decided to humor you and verify my account.
I see the agreement, and it says I need to log in. I'm already logged in. I can't get past the agreement screen!
Fix this!

you might have ta clear your browser cache
Take it from a former Microsoft Tech Support Engineer. Clearing cookies, cache, etc. fix nothing. Absolutely nothing. The problem lies with DAZ. They need to fix this.
Ron, that is standard for any site that has altered their EULA or TOS. Any site or program on the Internet.
Valander, you totally missed the real point. OK, if DAZ wants us to agree to the new EULA, they should darned well make the process work. I can't agree to the darned new EULA. I keep getting a false error.
Oh and it does no good to sign out and in again. People should be sure there advice works before they pass it on.
OK, here is the real solution. You need to go into your Product Library and agree to the EULA. DAZ should just bring you directly there and save you the aggravation.
I seemed to be able to agree to the revised EULA when the message popped up. I don't think I'm alone.
Try a reboot and flushing your cache of your browser.
DAZ really messed up this time. You get a message saying you need to sign in. Then you go to the customer menu. You need to click on Product Library, and then you can agree to the new EULA. This is poor programming on DAZ's part. They should bring you directly to where you need to agree to the EULA.
Trust me, it does no good to reboot, flush the browser cache, delete cookies etc. Those are old wives tales. Sometimes Tecj Support people tell customers to do that just to get them off the phone.
Did you try turning it off then turning it back on again?
To.... underail? When I went to DIM, it linked me to a page, that looked like https://www.daz3d.com/eula and had the right information on the page. At the bottom though it told me I needed to log in to agree to it. Thinking my browser logged me out, I checked but I was logged in. Still, when I refreshed the page, it said I had to log in.
On a whim/hunch, I clicked on my account and went to my account and then to the "Product Library" page, at which point it took me to an EULA page that I could agree to.
If the DIM link is taking people to the wrong page, one where they can't select to agree to the EULA, it would be in their interest to update that link rather than hope people figure it out on their own. I am not sure where it is best to report this, but I'll try one of the forms online. Since I know posts in the forums sometimes get addressed though, thought I'd mention it here as well.
Nice idea. But the topic IS how to drive Daz customers away, so I'm not sure submitting a helpful advisory ticket is really on topic.
I was facing the same situation. The instructions in the Install Manager are confusing and wrong. Thanks for providing a key for this.
It's always frustrating when something doesn't work for you. Glad you got it sorted out. I had no problem with agreeing to the new EULA.
But frankly, people who are invested in the studio, aka have bought products, hopefully aren't going to spite themselves. They're not going to throw their hands up and say "I'm done. Bye!" If they do, they're doing what's best for them, and hopefully they'll find another activity that meets their needs.
Lol this made me laugh
Did you try installing the latest install manager? I had the same issue and just restarted my computer and installed the latest build of install manager and that fixed it right up
no excuses
this was just made badly by the ds guys
Ron I had the same problem, and as a former software quality manager I could not agree more. It took me some time to figure out what the hell had happened. I own quite a lot of DAZ stuff and the new Eula cought me by supprise. Now the deer people of DAZ send a customer mail each day, so they:
a) Could have warned people about the new Eula login in DIM (my first thought was "something is broken", my second thought was "is this a virus", and only my third thought was "so DAZ updated it's Eula). This is a mistake that should have popped up in a UAT (User Acceptance Test).
b) Send people to the right link straight away and not with a detour. This is a mistake that should have popped up in a propper TT (Technical Test) and at the UAT but then some TT testers should be flogged with the proverbial rotten trout!

thanks for the heads up on this, Ron Knights. i thought i'd better to check to see if i would have an issue with this, but luckily i didn't. i kept this window open and this post up so i'd know what to do if i did.
I had great difficulty with the new EULA. The browser displayed it, but didn't log me in correctly, so after I looked it over, there was no way to accept it. Hopefully in future DIM will just present the EULA to you in a new window and let you accept it inside DIM instead of trying to get a browser to work.
That would be the easiest way imo, similar to how video games do it. Only reason I had no issues is because i was going to my product library to look for something so didnt have it flag me through DIM. I feel bad for everyone having issues.
I avoided clicking in DIM, and just went to my account and went to product library and it went to the EULA using firefox.
I hope you don't mind that I decided to change the title of this thread.
I totally apologize for the antagonistic way I approached this subject. My attitude was sure to provoke negative responses. Thankfully, I was smart enough to stop responding. It was the wee hours of the morning, when I should have been sleeping. I've been a loyal DAZ customer from the beginning. I know, from experience that DAZ responds well to constructive criticism.
I've been a bit keyed up, with my second cataract surgery coming on Tuesday etc. My first replacement lens was for Far sight. Tuesday I will have a new lens for "Near Sight!" That means I'll be able to see my computer screen more clearly.
I was about to walk away from DAZ Studio. I actually deleted all my previous installs. Then I saw DAZ Studio 4.10 was available. I will likely not be able to play much until my right eye has had a chance to recover from the surgery. I look forward to sharing some exciting experiences with you, my friends.
Good luck on the surgery
Thanks frank0314
I can't get past this EULA problem in 2019 [emphatically]!!!!
Try this link https://www.daz3d.com/eula
How are you reaching the EULA page - from the prompt in DIM or byt clicking the link at the bottom of a Daz page, https://www.daz3d.com/eula ? If the former, try the latter. If you still can't get the EULA to take please open a support ticket https://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us (you will probably need to click the Sign In link at top-right of the page to get rid of the email field and capthca)
Yo, I'm from 2019 and they still haven't fix it, yet. Thanks for the solution, bro.
I type, April 2020 and it's still not working for me, thru Mircosoft Internet/Edge Browser anyway...but thanks to Ron Knight it worked that way...
I want to ditto cuespinna above, except I tried it with Firefox on May 20 2020 and Ron's issue still happened to me. Thank you Ron for figuring out the real solution of going into the product library to sign that eula because the one daz directed me to would not recognize that I was logged in. I am new and don't see how I would have ever found it on my own. Kudos to Ron!
