I noticed in Advanced Settings under Hardware, there are two choices for me to use for rendering. The first choice is CPU and the other is my NVIDIA GeForce. Which one is the best for rendering on my computer?

Probably the GPU, if it has enough memory for your scenes, but we'd really need more details (which CPU and which GPU) to be definite (subject to scene size).
Note that it isn't a matter of "best", but "fastest" — both settings will produce identical renders, assuming they're both allowed to run to the same level of completeness. Rendering through the graphics card is usually faster, sometimes much faster than the CPU, depending on exactly what hardware you have.
Also note, though, that the scene (plus all mesh, textures, etc.) must fit into the RAM on the graphics card, otherwise the render will fall back to running on the CPU and the render time will go way up.
