Storms are through for now. For Sunday's $5 discount, I'm looking at Mely3d's X-Fashion America Outfit and will wishlist the Texture Add-on. I really like those, particularly the orange, yellow, flame combo. Eventually I'll try either a Skinz or a bodysuit under it to make it practical. I'm curious as to the material zones.So what are you guys looking at, that have the banner?

I put Nerdy Girl Hair for Genesis 3 Female(s) and Marc for Michael 8 in my cart so I won't have to go looking tomorrow, but I'm not set on either one. I don't like to waste a good coupon, but I'm not spending more than $3 on more hair or characters from Daz's back catalog. The $5.90 was about as high as I'll go on an older set with numerous props... I've got so much stuff now, it's hard to find anything I want from the older content
I think it is is "gothic" as in the medieval style i.e." Gothic art was a style of medieval art that developed in Northern France out of Romanesque art in the 12th century AD, led by the concurrent development of Gothic architecture" as opposed to "goth" i.e "The goth subculture adopts dark fashion elements such as black clothing, dyed black hair, dark eyeliner, black fingernails, and black period-styled clothing and a focus on gothic rock and a range of other music genres."
I'm getting more of a Tudor vibe, especially with the wood panelling, but I think you're right on 'gothic'/medieval here.

I picked up the Sci Fi Barrier and Walls for free today. I am having a very hard time finding things to buy as I have a huge amount of older stuff. I don't need a sindle item of clothing for older generations. Or hair.
I got the old attic. I've been eyeing it and not been sure whether I would use it or not, but with the coupon, it was in the right price range.
I also bought the "save you" poses and used the extra discount on featured Daz Originals to get a bunch of shaders for very low prices.
Your not crazy. I found it in my old downloads of free items from Dreamlight.
Just so you all know- it has NOT STOPPED RAINING since I posted that weather statement YESTERDAY. We're at about 8-10" with localized flooding, everyone has gotten at least 6". It's still raining! It's amazing to watch the radar. There was a thin ban of rain near the end of the huge blob on radar, then it ballooned up to another monster blob! This is ridiculous!
No rain here on the other side of the state.

It's going toward Jacksonville- I just heard on Weather Nation that Tallahassee had a tornado this afternoon. Crazy for early February!
We just had THREE WEEKS of constant rain. LOL. The Wet Season was late so it finally started raining non stop. Then it stopped two days and it's hot and horrid. But we're supposed to get more rain by Thursday.
It has been snowing here again, it comes and goes. It was down to -2ºC last night and is just on 0ºC just now at 08:00.
Brrrr! It's 66 right now at 2:40am. Rain is just now slowing down, we ended up with 9+ inches. (As usual, no flooding in my neighborhood. And we're on the high side of the street anyway.) Hope you get some beautiful snowfall (be sure to put out birdfeed for the birds, they really have a rough time during winter. :) )
There are always nut and seed feeders out 365 days a year. It has been very quiet around them this year though as I haven't needed to fill them as often as usual, very strange.
Our squirrels make sure we have to refill often LOL. I don't mind, I like squirrels. My husband affectionately calls them the "tree rats."
We have one or two Greys that come in for the nuts. It is quite funny to watch them go around the garden hiding some for later and see the Magpies come down and dig them back up again as soon as they go for more.
Did anyone get the sci-fi HDRIs from the sci-fi sale? This is a stopped render at 2400x1800. If you look at the full size, it's completely pixelated! Plus those lights are added in by me, the front spotlight plus extra luminance on the ray beams on the guns. The HDRI offered very little light, even when bumped up in intensity and is pixelated!
I'm doing a render now with dome draw off to add my own BG later. I'll try the other HDRIs in the pack, but I am not impressed at all so far and may end up returning. On a better note I'm loving CB Thyme, Annabella Hair and this is an altered gun pose from the sci-fi sale day. I like that it makes it easy to pose the guns in the hands and then you can change the main pose as desired...

Missed out on the Friday coupon from the green banner due to being busy with other stuff, but bought Princess of Asia for Genesis with the Saturday coupon and the Explorer Outfit for G3M with the Sunday one. They worked out to around $3 apiece. Couldn't bring myself to do the shopping cart Jenga on any of the stuff lately, just bought a few things I wanted (new G8M outfits that I thought I could make work on G3M, Gemology Shaders Vol 1, an Aeon Soul G3M outfit, and one of the five billion Ron Deviney sets from Fastgrab). Managed to burn off one of my PC coupons in the process.
You've got some nasty jpeg artifacting going on in the background there. Is it possible that's a jpeg and not the HDRI? I've got HDRI products that have both, a low-rez jpeg and a hi-rez HDRI. Even if you used a render setting, it's possible it shipped with the wrong image loading. Check to make sure the image in the Environment render setting isn't [filename].jpg...
But if that is the HDRI, I'd be returning it in a heartbeat!
I'm in the middle of a render now, but I'll check. I just clicked in the top folder in the smart content pane and chose what I assumed was a HDRI. I think there was a separate folder called "Render" or "Render settings" that I never opened, thinking that was just settings that I could adjust on my own, but why have a folder with jpgs at all? And even a 4K jpg should not pixelate like that...
Now that I'm rendering with dome drawing off, I see there is definitely some backlighting and a dark blue lighting that comes from it (my added lighting was all aqua) so I'm not sure a jpg could do that, but I'll check when this render is done. (This is on my laptop, so it could be a while!)
I think the set is quite useful. I bought it and used it for a skating outfit.

Alexandra is a welcome change. Wonder if there will be a banner. I'm waiting to see how it evolves / if it does. Edit: Well, with 3 things, it went to $46.29 and 66% off (really good IIRC) The Helena and Kylie both went 61% off. Rob's went 44%.
Early morning. Got a call from the woman that thought Eevie came up to her pation door in November (who still has my cat crate under her porch, high and dry, and leaves food out all day and night.) So I went over at 8:15am this morning. Apparently the big black cat we trapped (and released) has befriended this other black cat. We didn't find Eevie (but a gray cat was enjoying the woods food) but I drove around and went to the sprawling residence next door (with the huge pasture down to the creek) and saw the black cat (or A black cat) and it isn't her. (If that was the same one.) Then the man with the critter cam was outside too and he's still watching weekly. People are SO nice to still be keeping an eye out for her.
I like the looks of Alexandra, and quite a variety of bundles, eh? Figures one of the bundles has the Nerdy Girl Hair @ladair got the other day. Lovable Nerds Bundle. That always happens! I don't have a thing from that bundle so that will be one of them, Hip Hop Bundle to get one of the pose sets and Honey, and the Rocker Chick Bundle to get Francesca and the outfit. That vest is interesting. I have so much from all other bundles (or not interested) that picking up a few characters is the best I can do. What are you folks getting?

I just picked up a couple things from his shop the other day. One new release and 2 items from his back catalog. I haven't even looked at today's sale page yet.
I'm not planning on buying Alexandra, as beautiful as she is, as my budget won't allow it this month. I had a hard drive going out and had to replace it. An external 1TB I've had for many years, and all my paid-for images were on that drive! I replaced it with a Seagate 8TB, which was surprisingly affordable at Amazon. Only $150-ish. But while I was at it, I bought a 4TB internal for the beast, whose 2TB internal drive is filling up fast. Only 345GB left... Only! I can remember when a 1GB hard drive was both huge and expensive!
I am, however, going to buy Rosa. I love it when Darwin makes the models work with both the Daz figure and the base. And rather than buy something I didn't really need, I made a donation on the GoFundMe page for UnderConstruction.
Alexandra is a pass for me. I don’t have a present need for this character. Her face is nicely mature and I like her snub nose but all the bodies are fairly well represented with existing female content and I don’t find myself needing her extras.
That's so sweet that you donated, that will mean the world to Rob I'm sure. I put my forum name then "From Daz" as the last name, because he wouldn't know me from Adam. (poor Adams, wonder how that expression got started?)
It's really neat right now, the Air Force is flying missions/ training exercises and it's huge. The skies have been roaring in the distance for the past hour. It reminds me of the Blue Angels shows. And of our very capable military. But I'd never live near a military training airfield, that's for sure!
