Dustrider's wip looks terrific, love the atmosphere and lighting.  Vicky had always heard that if you run into a dragon, the best response is to 'play mannequin'.  Sadly, she was misinformed, as nothing enrages the fury of a dragon more than mannequins.  :)

This is actually going to be part of a graphic novel that UnifiedBrain is developing, and fits into the challenge nicely.  I love the humor in this.

Bunyip shares a render of his hungry cave.  The mouths of some caves are more intimidating than others.  But our intrepid hero is willing to throw himself down the gullet of full-throated adventure.  He was very brave, but perhaps not wise...  :)

MDO2010 shared a render of his latest.  This particular bed-and-breakfast is a bit on the quaint side, and it isn't for everyone.  But for the truly discerning traveller who isn't afraid of a little adventure...  :)

Stezza knocks it out of the park yet again.  Hitler, gray aliens, spaceships and a dark sci-fi hanger, all in an old photograph, what's not to love?  This photo was taken in the chamber beneath the sphinx monument on mars, btw...  :)

Bunyip shares 'Sting in the Tail'.  It reminds me of my ex girlfriend, actually, except for the dungeon creature is much less venomous.  :)

Headwax shows off some of the luxuries of medieval hospitality.   :)

Stezza shares of a render of the reclusive and rarely-seen Fribians.  They lure unsuspecting human prey close by using the 'thumbs up' gesture to try to appear friendly and unthreatening, but then ferociously attack.  :)

Evilproducer put up a wip  that looks very eerie indeed.  Love the volumetric spot from above and the mist.

UnifiedBrain shows why the best parties are always thrown on Mars.  Wish you could have been there!  :)

I'd better add some wips of my own entries too:

Mistara is doing some wonderful work with dynamic hair in letting the Genie out of the bottle.   :)

Check out this render from UnifiedBrain.  Amazing, right?  Now consider he was able to do this in Carrara with no postwork.  Holy Moly!

Varsel unveils an excellent render of an abandoned railway tunnel.  Or is it abandoned?  Love the mood on this one.

Stezza displays glorious chaos in his latest render.  It definitely has a dark vibe to it, and after all not all dungeons are terrestrial, right?

Vysur demonstrates that creepy androids can still be whimsical:

Varsel unveils the secret location of a mysterious train filled with treasure that went missing in WWII (the backstory on this render comes from a real life mystery, pretty cool!):

Shlomi Laszlo shared this piece, which illustrates why it is important to look behind you, even if you are embroiled in battle with an ancient egyptian sorceress:
