The last days i've spend time on some research for 3D Modeling and didn't just took a look on the Carrara side.
I also done some research on the V/Mental Ray side, also about Maya, Autodesk and so on just to see what can be helpfull on using Carrara and Octane.
So i just wanted to share this with you.
There are a few great plugins for Photoshop like the nvidia texture tools for photoshop.
With this plugin you are able to open and edit dds files which are often used for game textures and you are able to make and modify your own maps (very usefull if you want to make your own bump or displacement maps for example)

Another nice plugin is from the nik collection.

Absolutely! shlomi laszlo gives a cool workflow for Inagoni's Primvol plugin in this post from this month's challenge. I have most of them but don't use them often enough. I need time to experiment! Argh!

I am interesting in a few plugins there, ArchiTools, Baker, Deeper, Primivol, Shaper and well, Velouté 2, Replica and Swap too :)
They all seem to be pretty interesting.

Just found this python script for Carrara.

You used to be able to buy a bundle of Inagoni plugins on the Daz store, not sure if its still available.

Thanks a lot for the information! :)
Is the Vendorname inagoni too? If yes, than there is no content on the DS Store, maybe on Renderosity?

I thought that might have been the case.

Very cool. It's always nice to have some skin shaders on hand!

If you're interested, and have a ShareCG account our friend, evilproducer, has made a procedural skin shader for V4. It could actually be used with any figure except for the masking maps that are made to fit V4's UVs. In his ShareCG gallery he also has a verion for V3/A3.

While there, you might also want to grab some of his other stuff - especially his Fantasy Village for Carrara

Also at ShareCG, Indigone has a Skin Shader and Lights kit for V4, but works on any figure, and also has the Endless Eyes kit, which is made for V4.

Here at Daz3d, 3D Celebrity has a nice collection of skin shaders - Carrara Surface and Skin Shaders

GKDantas also has some cool Carrara skin shaders, as does Ringo Monfort

I've used shaders from all of them to learn new ways to work with them. This one uses GKDantas' Ultimate Skin Shaders for V4 - Wet, which requires the V4 Wet maps texture pack. While I do enjoy the power of using procedural shaders, I still prefer to use maps for important things like a realistic character's skin.

Thanks a lot for the links and informations, i still don't have a sharecg account
Most skin shaders i've have are from Rongo Monfort and they are pretty cool!
3DCelebrity seem to be no longer active as i've wrote 2 pm's on here and also on the facebook page but no response, i was asking about the dynamic dolce hair as it causes crashes in octane renderer because of the amount of hair groups but works fine in Carrara native renderer.

GKD Skins i've already own but not the wet maps but i like to use a high amount of shine, highlight, reflection and refraction to get some nice wet look in octane renderer :)
