Issues with CMS

OK, I just D/L-ed and installed the 4.6beta on my machine.But before I installed 4.6, I have completely uninstalled 4.5 and removed all folders in both program files(Windows7 64) in hopes that the CMS not working issue has been corrected for 4.6.
Nadda! still no CMS. I had tried all the trick,suggestion, recommendation, etc. in the forums and nothing seems to work.
I have included a screen shot showing that I have genesis selected, but everything is still greyed out in the Smart Content Tab.
I submitted a bug report when I first had this issue
I had purchased shoes several months back and installed them. Somehow the shoes messed up the CMS after they were installed. I was not able to "autofit" anything since then, Again, all this info had been forward in the bug report. The tech verified that there was defiantly an issue with the shoes file and the CMS file, but had no answer at the time as to why!
I had then uninstalled the shoes and returned them for a refund, but since then, CMS has never work again.

I am totally stumped. I'm I the only one having this issue, or are there others too!

Have you tried uninstalling CMS from the Windows Control panal first before reinstalling the main software as the CMS doesn't get uninstalled or updated unless you tell it to. :)

Or have you tried reimporting the meatadata?
