Do I need to buy Animate in order to use the new animations?

Do I need to buy Animate in order to use those new animation blocks, or will it work just in DAZ without Animate?

depends to use as is no

to bake to keyframes for Dforce etc yes

I would just be basically using normal clothes and no Dforce, just to get the character animated, very basics.
