Hi guys me again lol
Sorry for all the questions but if I dont ask i wont get to know.
Ok im currently creating a head morph for genesis, part teens 5 and part M5. Are genesis texture sets universal? Only i loaded justin for teens5 on M5 and the texture didnt match up to his uv. If not what genesis figure do i create the texture for? Teen 5? M5? or genesis.
Im a real noob i know :P

It depends entirely on the texture set you choose. In this case, YT Justin, you have to set your UV's to the YT5 set. If you used, say Dave for M5, then you would use the M5 UV set. Mixing the morphs doesn't actually affect the UV's, it's the texture set that you choose. M5, V5, etc have their own UV sets, but that applies to the textures used. It has something to do with their body shapes and stretching of textures, but so far I haven't noticed any problems mixing textures from one character with morphs from another, as long as the UV set in the surface pane matches the chosen texture.
ok thank you very much Slosh! Love your avatar btw :)
...for Julie the default UV set used is V4.
Doesn't one of the Teen 5 boy texture sets actually use the Stephanie 5 UV map? Can't remember which one, but there was a thread about it a few weeks ago. If you are using this texture — whichever one it is — then it'll only fit if you also have S5 to supply the UV map.
...I believe it is Hayden and Haley. All the other YT characters use the V4 UV map
It seems to cover the widest range of consumers better use initial genesis UV to create skin sets with full body morphs.
