You need to look at the paths that you have set in the Content Directory Manager in DS4.6. You shouldn't really have 4.5 and 4.6 on the same machine. I believe that you can have 4.5 32 bit and 4.6 64 bit, but I am not sure if it is advisable.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, and make sure that the Library that hold your new Genesis content is listed as both DAZ Studio and Poser Formats.

If you can't figure it out, please post a screenshot of the CDM showing the collpased listings for Poser and DAZ Studio.

thank you for the prompt reply to my previous problem...now I am having a similar issue to this one...
    I get this error message...

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4.6 and still no Genesis.dsf
I have manually checked the file paths for Genesis.dsf and it is not there.
The only thing I can think of is that it was not in the bundle when I dl'd 4.6

    (a) Did you install Genesis Starter Essentials?
    (b) After installing GSE, go to Edit > Preferences > Startup and change the startup scene to read "Genesis.duf"

Shouldn't it be included in the bundle with Pro 4.6?
And it was on my 4.0 previously installed.

DS 4.0 had the content and application all in one installer. Starting with 4.5 there are separate installers for the application and the content (Genesis Starter Essentials).

In DS4.0 user files had a .dsf extension, starting in 4.5 it's .duf. If you upgrade from a 4.0 version to 4.5+, it keeps your previous settings, including the startup file ending in .dsf instead of .duf.

After installing Genesis Starter Essentials, go to Edit > Preferences > Startup and use the pull-down to navigate to Genesis.duf in the same folder.

You Must Install them before the content will load.
