Export multiple objects as one obj, no parts

I have a scene with 6 objects in it. I want to export the scene as one wavefront file, and only have one item in the obj when I open it in Blender. I am using the scene as an obstacle in a fluid simulation. I want to be able to scale and transorm the entire scene as one item in Blender. Also this prevents haveing to set up properties for each individual item.
When I export the scene from Daz with the all items selected, I get one Obj. (good) When I import the Obj into Blender, I get 6 items in the scene window, which would ususally be a good thing. For the simulation, I want one wire mesh to work with. How do I export a Daz scene to a single mesh object?

Try unchecking Write Groups (in the More Options section, you may need to click the button at the bottom to see that).
OK,
I tried that and it did not do what I needed. Once I import that OBJ into Blender, I still have seperate items (Room, chair, G8F, hair, [clothing items]... I need those to be one object that I can rotate, scale, position.
I got the result I need by just grouping the objects in Blender. I thought there was a way to export as one mesh from Daz, but,m it escapes me.
For all those experts, stop reading now. :) For anyone finding this thread looking for the the same answer....
Let's say you export G8F, Hair, Shorts, Top, and a chair from DAZ as one obj. When you import into Blender, you have each item seperately in the scene. In the Blender 3D window, select each item by right clicking and then shift + right click on additional item until you have them all. Make sure you select the the item you want to be the parent last. Then CTRL+P to bring up the parent dialogue. Select 'object' and the items are now grouped with the last item as the parent. Now you can transform and scale them all as one item in your scene or simulation. Be mindful of manually scaling in Blender if you are bringing the item back into DAZ. You can do it, you just have to correct for it when bringing it back to DAZ.
Sorry for reviving this thread, but I was looking for an answer to a different question and I happened upon this.
I actually know the answer to the original question and thought I could provide it here, in case in the future, someone else want to know what the op wanted. I think the thread could afterwards be marked as solved as well.
To import multiple objects from Daz into Blender as a single object, the selection is on import in Blender. There is a tab on the import window called Geometry, under it, Split by Object option needs to be unchecked.
Yeah I tend to use these settings all the time. Especially a genesis figure otherwise it's split by face group.
(I'm still using the older version of Blender becuase I don't use it enough to get used to the new version, I find it frustrating not knowing where stuff is)
