Animated Rain?

Hi everyone, so there are a couple of rain props out there but none that I have found are good for animations. I mean the models can be spruced up with Photoshop touch-ups and such but what props/models should I get if I wanted to have animated rain?
Also, keep in mind that in order to really sell the effect you'd have to have ground splats too. I've thought about using stock video but even that has this problem. It's hard to find pre-comped stock footage that is much good, in my opinion.

Well, there are these from Dreamlight:

I don't have them myself, but I've seen them used in one of his tutorials. They look quite good.

"Nerd3D brings you a truly volumetric rain simulation for DAZ Studio and Poser. Fully 3D Modeled Rain and Splashes for a convincing in-render simulation. No post work processes required. The effects can easily be animated with the included animated poses."
The Urban Future 2 one of dreamlight is really good. It gives you just that filmnoir feel you want
