Rendering Speed

When you are rendering a scene does the speed of the render depend more on the faster processor or the graphics card?   If this is already here then please point me in the correct direction.  Thankx

For Iray, more on GPU Vram and CUDA Cores

For 3Delight, it has more to do with "CPU Cores/Threads" and "RAM speed".

For IRAY, it is about 90% of the "Cuda Cores" counts, only found within NVIDIA cards. (Without CUDA cores, it is similar to the above.)

CUDA cores are about 10x faster than "CPU emulation", of the same math calculations. The more CUDA cores, the faster it renders.
