Eyes shaders - Solved

Hello everyone!

Without making an hour of speechless I ask, why I got this eyes (look at "my shaders" pic) while the Victoria 8 shaders are more clear? (look at "Victoria 8 shaders")

Some shader setting to set?

P.S. V8 has a glossiness over the eyes also.

Thank you

  • it might be the material settings, it might be the lighting. There really isn't enough information to decide.

  • Ah ok Richard. Well, I'm using Ultra Genesis Vol. 1, one of the best lighting studio in my opinion, then, about settings I'm using the shadings parameters likeVictoria 8, well balanced for translucency and textures color. My renders are outstanding (if you see the textures skin I made they are little bit dark so the V8 shaders pull up the translucency, which is exactly what I want), but seems like need more to get a glossy realistic eye. (without that blur artifact)

  • Not wanting an hour of speeches, but some information would be useful.

You posted two pictures. The one on the right is, you tell us, V8. The one on the left is presumably a different model, apparently in a different pose, possibly with different lighting, and you want to know why it looks different? And there's presumably some specific difference indicated by the red arrow that isn't obvious to me (or rather lots of differences are obvious, but I can't tell which one the arrow is pointing at).

  • My dear chris-2599934, you answer back at my question. Differences are lighting. I tried to change angle to the lights and ... taadaa! Eyes sharps and not blurred! laugh Anyway the "different model" is my new character I'm build for sale. I'm working on a bundle, so I ask and ask and ask! This is the cause I ask so many questions. Lol! By the way, solved.

Thanks to Richard, you and other artists that helps me a lot to start my Daz-biz.

Ah forgot, about the arrows I drew'em just to ephasize the point where are the differences (see the differences? Blur / no blur.)

P.S. about my thread opening phrase is not an offence, just a joke. wink
