dForce Nightmare

Everything was working fine when I started with dforce back in December, clothes would simulate without a problem now I get mutiple errors, at times Daz window pops up and quickly closes, or mostly Daz crashes, goes to black screen takes awhile for the computer to settle down, I don't know what has changed, I did use it without any problems back in December now I can't use anything in dForce!

The strange thing is I can use the old Dynamics plugin without any problem, simulates quickly, doesn't crash and with the dynamic script from the other place I can use old clothing.

I'm using Daz 4.10.0.107 and I thought I read somewhere about the need to update to the new Daz...would this be the problem as right now I'm sick and tired of having black screens and achieving nothing with dforce.

If anyone has an idea of what is going wrong I'd certainly appreciate it.

Daz did improve dForce after the initial release, so it is probably a good idea to update to the latest version of Daz Studio, which is 4.10.0.123 right now.

If you get a dForce specific error message pop up, at this point in time, you have to restart Daz Studio in order to get dForce to work again.

Your figure pose can also make a big difference. Make sure no part of the figure intersects with the clothing, like a hand on a hip.

Thanks barbult, I'll give it a try...:(

  • Also make sure you're not using the 388 seris of Nvidia drivers, as these have been problematic. 387.92 is stable. I have not tried the 390 series.

Thank you, I'll make sure to check...I've decided to hold off while I finish a couple of commissions until I go playing around with upgrades ;)
