How to put the tools tab back among the tabs? (Solved)

Among my tabs on the right side, I used to have one for the tools, under which I could find the joint editor. I reset my workspace and lost that. And when I select the joint editor from the tools menu, I don't see any control dials anywhere. So anyway, I want to know how to restore my tools tab again.

Answer I found: In the gray space between the tabs, right-click to get a menu. Click on "Add Pane" and then click on the tools item.

Remember that you can saave a custom workspace layout. You can also drag panes to dock them where you want.
My answer no longer works, at least for 4.11.
Can someone please tell me how it is done for 4.11?
Ok. I found the answer again. It is similar to the answer it used to be except it is more specific.
Old answer I found: In the gray space between the tabs, right-click to get a menu. Click on "Add Pane" and then click on the tools item.
New answer I found: In the gray space at the bottom of the tab strip (not merely the gray space between the tabs), right-click to get a menu. Click on "Add Pane" and then click on the tools item.
