LAMH 2 Iray Catalyzer Causing "fatal error" - resolved (sort of)

So I've been trying to use LAMH 2 Iray Catalyzer for the first time on Black Panthers for DAZ Big Cat 2. The problem I'm encountering is that after saving the scene, I can't open it because DAZ "encounters a fatal error". This has happened twice today. The first time, I figured something corrupted it. So I pulled out an earlier version (without the Cat) and Daz was able to open it. Then, again, I added the cat with the Catalyzer fur, posed him, closed the app and went to do something. When I came back to work, I was once again told Daz had encountered a fatal error and wouldn't allow me to open the scene.
This is what I get:
Machine info:
I'm also attaching the report I get.
Does anyone know if there's a fix for this? I recently installed (without meaning to) the update to Daz Studio, so I'm working on the 4.10 version. Could this be what's causing the problem? And, if so, is there a way to revert back to 4.9?

So you are having the same blasted issue I am my friend. Heck I can't even get catalyzer to work period.
Are you using the render button in the catalyzer? Most of my crashing came from when I tried to delete it from the scene or use the normal render button.
So, I managed to get this to work (meaning I rendered the puma with the fur without crashing DAZ via the Catalyzer). I also redid the scene (the one that got corrupted twice) and this time also managed to save it without it getting corrupted. The thing I did differently is that when I brought in the puma, I did a test render, THEN saved it as a new scene. After that, I was able to open the scene without problems. So not sure why the previous two scenes got corrupted or why I wasn't able to render via the Catalyzer ('cause Daz kept crashing). The only different thing I did this time, was doing a couple of test renders via Catalyzer before saving and closing Daz. Might've been simply a bug or something.
Important to note, I kept getting white fur on the PUMA when I used the preset "out of the box". I thought at first it was because I did some test renders in "safe mode," but it wasn't. I only got the fur properly black when I manually adjusted the settings in the catalyzer tab.
(Also sent an email to Alessandro and he responded right away. He was very helpful, though neither of us know still what caused the corruption of the previous scenes.)
We weem to have been thinking alike lol. However I am a wolf person obviously. so didn't use a big cat. I only got that white fur affect once last night. As long as I have been using the render button in the catalyzer pane so far I have not been having any crashes. Still fooling with that render because I need the right scenery for it.
Went ahead and threw this together testing out the catalyzer and see if this particular background set user fewer resources.
One thing you might want to try is to enable the 'safe mode' option, available in the Catalyzer pane itself (it's on the bottom, below the Render button). That should help to maintain stability.
Yeah, I was able to render via safe mode just fine. I am still unsure what caused the first two scenes to get corrupted. Like I mentioned, the only thing I did different between those two times and the third time (they were all done during the same day) was that for the third scene, I did some test renders before saving and closing. Just to tread on the safe side, I'll always make a test render whenever I use the product before closing the scene.
Looks excellent! That fur on your wolf looks great! I'll try to render other animals and see if I can get them to look how they should "out of the box" (without the white hair, that is).
It actually looks better if you do it the old way to convert it to Iray. But it is so time consuming I just didn't bother in the past and stuck with 3DL.
What I was working on before the issues started and staying with same theme was having her snuggled up using the wolf as a pillow while she slept. Now what I am leary of is the items that are trying to convert any LAMH products that aren't already catalyzer. I really need to learn how to use LAMH to create hair. Would love to create a set of animal ears that could be made with LAMH and set so it would blend into any hair figure.
Would love to do some new coats for the fox and wolf but I am not sure how to make the color changes since I am not trying to make new fur/hair.
