Exporting or saving a character morph to sell?

Anyone,

If I wanted to export a new character I've created with various morphs in Daz and then package it for sale to Daz users, how would I do that?

Thanks for any advice.

I'm surprised you've not had a reply, but you need to contact customer services re this. I'm not certain as I'm not a conent provider, but I suspect it's a lot more complex than you imagine as the copyright on what you are morphing belongs to the creator. One is licensed to create artwork from DS content and sell such as an original compostion, but that's not the same as being licensed to use anothers model to create a spin-off model which would almost certainly be copyright theft. It's a question for DS personnel, not for Forum users.

You say you created it "with various morphs". Are those morphs you created yourself, or morphs from other packages?

I think you just have to save a character preset to the library. If this preset is provided to others they can load it and will have more or less the same character depending on weather they have all other morph packages and character textures used by your character installed. But I dont think thats something originaly that you can sell - its something for the freebie section.

  • Friends, I am personally not interested in legal aspects.
I create a 3D model myself (in another program). I do everything from figure to textures. I'm interested in only  technical aspect.

Is there a tool that does (exports) the installation package from my 3D model, which I made for use in the DA3 3D?
