Skin morph

Hey,

is it possible to do a skin morph?

If I would take for example a white skin and a black skin  from an african character, would it be possible to have a transsition from Skin A to B? Ideally with a slider.

  • It would probably be possible to do that with a custom shader in Shader Mixer, but I don't think anyone has. Another option is to use a Geometry Shell (Create>New Geoemtry Shell) with one set of maps on the base figure and one on the shell, then gradually raise the shell's opacity

You could do it with my OMS1 shader using a map to layout which skin is used where, but not a slider.

    Hey thanks for yous answer.

I tested sucessfully the geometry shell. This feature is great and does exactly what I want. But it seems to have it‘s problem with „addons“ to the body like the female golden place genitals.
Therefor this feature is unusable for my purpose.

I didn‘t find the time for checking the Shader Mixer (seems a little bit complicate).

OMS1 shader sounds interesting, but I‘m not sure if this is what I search for my project.

However, I switched for the moment to a much simpler solution. I just render the pictures twice (with both skins) and do the transition in photo shop.

When I find time I will take a look at the shader mixers.
