I am looking for a "Bjork" (the singer) hair style as seen in the era of the 1990s.

It seems alot of top-models, actresses and other singers have been copying this hair style for many years now

and I do not seem to find it in DAZ Studio hair fashions.

Any suggestions?

I believe this hair style would look great on some futuristic female scenes or some wid female Warrior scenes too.

OK, I new there was something about those pictures I recognized but yesterday I could only remember a few girls in Kindergarten that occasionaly had that style. Today though I came across the other place I remembered it from though:

You'll need to finagle it to fit new characters though. Maybe SickleYield or someone else has tutorial on how to do that? I think you only need strip the old rigging, place it and scale it (very, very carefully), and then transfer G8F (or whatever the case may be) rigging to the fitted hair.

  • Thank you so much NoneSuch00 yes

Now I have to figure out how to place that hair properly into a G3F or a G8Female.

  • I am not sure what a "Bjork" hairstyle is but it looks like a cultural appropriation of the African Zulu braided style called Bantu Knots. Samsil has a lovely version for  G2 at Rendo https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/khc-bantu-knots-g2f/118149/

I have worn this style when I was in college, sported it because it was African and I am in my 50's, way before Bjork so I wonder who is the copycat

I remember that hairstyle in 1969 in Kindergarten on two or three girls. I'm not sure wear they got it though except they loved to play together and do their whole head in little buns with their wrists full of rubber bands.

Exactly, so all the women wearing this hair now are certainly not copying Bjork

Oh, I didn't realize a lot of women are wearing that style until I saw the Björk pictures as I hadn't seen it except on children. I don't watch TV. Well nothing that's been recorded in the US for most of the past 30 years at least.

Speaking of a similar hair style, 3DU's Toon Generations 1 Megabundle has one hair style that call 'Tribal Bobbles' included with their bundle that is similar. You'd still have to do a refit though.
