"Duplicate formulas" error rears its head again, but this time with Genesis 8 Male.

Hi there,

I thought this was an issue that had been resolved long ago, but upon loading a scene I'd been working on (which had previously been fine), I got the dreaded "Duplicate formulas found" error on load. Looking in the log, the item causing the errors seems to be M3D Dalton for G8M, but uninstalling it and reinstalling it from DIM doesn't seem to have fixed the issue. Genesis 8 seems to load fine and there are no obvious glitches with his morphs, however.

I've attached a file with the relevant parts of the log, in the hopes that someone who's more familiar with the terminology might be able to decrypt it.

It's been so long since I've dealt with this error that I can't remember how to fix it, and all the forum threads I can find refer to the original Genesis figure. Has anyone else experienced this problem with G8?

Hopefully a solution can be found! Seems odd that this error should only have appeared recently, I'm certain that I'd worked on this scene with no problems after having bought and installed the Dalton pack, so it's not like it's a recent addition that's caused the problems.

Since DS can detect "duplicate formulas", it should be entirely possible for the error detection algorithm to identify the exact location of the duplicates and display this information. Better still, a popup option which offers an automatic deletion of one of the duplicates, according to the users choice.

DAZ3d, how about implementing this simple feature in the next DS update?

    Hi Richard,

I'm not aware of those functions so unless it's possible to do so accidentally, I haven't done it.
