How to pose two figures together?

I'm trying to pose a man carrying a child, but having trouble with the proper positioning of the bodies. Instead of the man's right arm going under the legs of the child they're between the legs. Is there an easy method to do proper positioning of figures? TIA for your help.

Firstly, be advised that your image may be removed for breaching the terms of service. In future, be sure to clothe your figures so that this doesn't happen.
Secondly, posing is an art all in itself. There are tools which can help the process though. The main one in Daz Studio is called Power Pose. This can be found by clicking Windows -> Panes (Tabs) -> Poserpose which will bring up a window with a figure outline. Click on various dots on the figure to access that particular body part and move it around. This allows you to more easily select fiddly parts of a figure, such as the fingers, for example, or simply to quickly switch between different body parts to speed up the process.
For my part, I rely a lot on the parameters tab and manually adjust the sliders for fine tuning poses after getting it in roughly the right spot. It's not an simple process by a long shot, but it gets easier with experience.
Actually, that happens to be the topic of the June New User Contest! Feel free to join in...you can get feedback in the WIP Thread and some more experienced users may pop in with some tips you can use.
Unfortunately, there's not really an easy fix...posing can take a lot of fine-tuning. It can take a great deal of time and effort, but in the end it can definitely pay off.
I agree with HeraldofFire about a possible Terms of Service violation...you should probably replace your image with one showing either clothed figures, or untextured (plain gray) figures.
Thank you gentlemen for your replies and for correcting my mistake about nudity. It was a misunderstanding on my part as I thought that these figures had no genitals and therefore are mannequins with skin. Won't happen again.
Here's a quick example I threw together which illustrates your original intent. It's still far from perfect, since I haven't worked on it very long, but it might help give you an idea of how things fit together. When working with multiple figures, it's only natural to adjust both figures on the fly so that their poses play nicely together. Expect to spend a lot of time with the fine tuning of such poses, depending on their complexity. Again, this was a pretty quick example, but no doubt you can do far better with more time spent working on it.

Have to say that there are so many things in DS that i keep finding out about by accident, for example, i read this post by chance. I had no idea about power pose, even after using Daz for more than two years. I understand fully that posing becomes a work of art in itself and having spent many hours posing characters, then many more playing with all the variables of lighting, then getting involved with Reality and Luxor and all of that, i still cannot stop feeling like in idiot stumbling around blindly.
The good thing is that after all this time i can produce half decent renders and when i started i didnt even know what was meant by the word render.
This is one reason why we decided to have a New Users contest on this very subject.
As Scott has already said the New User contests are designed as a way to learn how to do things and possibly win prizes as well.
I've been doing this for 7 years now and still don't have posing down to a level I'd like. Like mentioned already we do have posing contest in New Users for people to learn and fine tune there abilities.
Speaking of posing, is there a way to mirror the posing so that while I'm posing the right arm/leg the left arm/leg poses in the same way.
I believe you can turn on symmetry and it will do it. If not you can copy and paste the values. Just remember if the value is +24 use -24 for the other
Symmetry isn't live, in that it won't updated one side as you pose he other, but it will mirror or swap a pose from left to right when you run it.
