DIM uninstall not removing installed files

Howdy DAZ folks!

Is there a reason the Install Manager would leave the installed files from uninstalled packages in place? I've been trying to free up disk space by shrinking my library and DIM removes the packages from the content database used by Studio, but the files are left in the library.

Thanks for any suggestions!

PS I think Install Manager is super cool for the most part.

    All files or only some? Had you moved you content directory after installing the content?

    All of the content packages I tried to uninstall left the library files in place.

    Not sure if I moved the content directory. I may have.

    I got it working by creating a new content directory, uninstalling everything and then reinstalling into the new directory. 

    It now deletes the files from the new directory when the packages are uninstalled.
