When did DAZ 3D's YouTube channel become "Britney Creek"???

Just noticed this morning that I was no longer subscribed to "www.youtube.com/user/WWWDAZ3DCOM" -- it appears that the user/title has been changed to "Britney Creek" (whoever that is). The page has the same art, and all of the videos seem to be there. Any idea why this was done, and who is Britney Creek?

She is the head of Customer Service
O.K. So why was the change made? Wouldn't it have made more sense to retain the company name rather than link it to an employee, who may leave or change assignments at some point?
I believe it is Google+ that did it.
my channel appears under my real name now apperently to subscribers too thanks to Google+
(being VERY sarcastic with that THANKS!!!)
If you use multiple Google services Google really want's you to link them all together. If you do so then they all have the same name - usually the one you use on G+ or GMail. I know that my wife has been getting bugged to link her G+ and youtube accounts but she has so far refused. I'm not sure if there is any way to roll it back if you've already linked them though.
That sounds plausible, but then I have to ask why do Autodesk, Renderosity, and Content Paradise all still have YouTube accounts listed under their company names, and not the names of the employees who created them or maintain them, as is apparently the case with DAZ 3D? Keep in mind, I'm not doubting the explanations given and I'm not slamming DAZ or Ms. Creek -- it's just a puzzle I'm trying to figure out, and I'd like to know the answer.
For Content Paradise It might be how those accounts were set up initially You can also contact YouTube from what I understand and get a You Tube channel's name changed.
I got this as the contact info:
YouTube, LLC
901 Cherry Ave.

Google + as mas mentioned is the reason why.
On a slightly related note if you use Yahoo some changes will be occurring this month in regards to accounts and privacy, which has numerous people closing accounts as they are going to start

This appears to hold the answer to your problem, Wendy.
Let me know if it works.

unfortunately it looks like one needs Google+ for revenue sharing
not that I have seen a cent so far
but hoping that was the reason I hadn't as taking the steps outlined involved google+
it takes a month to enable which screws any chance of reversing it.
so far I do not seem to gotten any fall out from it except one subscriber using my full name in a comment (complimentry) which alerted me to it.
But still very unsure of what could happen.

So much for Google's own Support pages. :(
I apologize for any confusion, YouTube changed their policy and no longer allows nicknames, business names, for your YouTube account name. In order to post the videos I had to use a name other than company name, which changed the account name. I was able to change the name to DAZ Prod. DAZ Productions, DAZ3D, DAZ DAZ, anything like this was not accepted.
Greetings,
I think you can use a Google+ Page identity, via this FAQ entry and set up a business entity on G+ which then becomes the YouTube presence.
At least I hope it does; I was planning on releasing some screencasts for my own product that way. :)

Hey, at least it wasn't "Dawsons Creek"!
