Genesis Basic Female always at 1.00

I have DAZ Studio Pro 4.6 and about a week ago I noticed that that no matter what figure I loaded in the 'Shaping' tab the Basic Female is always at 1.00 when I load a character. Even loading the Basic Male both the Basic Male and Basic Female are both at 1.00. Doesn't matter if it's M5, V5, H5 or A5 every Gen 5 character loads with Basic Female set to 1.00. Admittedly I haven't tried any Gen 4 characters recently.

Anybody have any ideas why or how to fix?

Sounds like your main Genesis file might be borked. I think Genesis is included in the starter essentials rather than the program itself. Try reinstalling the Genesis Starter Essentials.

This is something that occasionally happens when you use the wrong save option with a morphed figure. The result is that the morph file is resaved with a default value other than zero. Reinstalling generally works, or you can use this manual fix:

Locate the offending morph file (e.g. My Library/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Morphs/DAZ 3D/Base/FBMBasicFemale.dsf)
Open it in a text editor.
(If it's gibberish, rename it to .zip, unzip it, rename the resulting file to .dsf, and open that one.)
Find the line that says "value" : 1, (or possibly some other nonzero value)
Change the 1 to a 0. Make sure you don't do anything to the space before the number, or the comma after it.
    Save.
