suddenly, my usual floor is just 2 white lines. Ive toggled "show floor" on and off, restarted the program and the computer -no dice.

have I accidentally changed a scale setting or something?

    If you zoom back and/or open a new scene, can you see the normal grid? Could you have somehow accidentally scaled your figure very small and you're looking at a tiny piece of the ground where two grid lines intersect?

    zooming changes nothing and this is a default figure, no scaling performed.

    Yes, it's the same for me. I think this is probably just the new style for DAZ 4.6. If you want a grid on the floor just create a primitive plane.

    EDIT: The floor grid reappears in 'Cartoon Shaded' mode.

    @sgreco1970

    Could you please add the word "SLOVED" to the title of your post, it will help, thank you.

  • I have this issue in 4.12 Beta. Don't know what I did to cause it, don't know how to fix it. Changing to  cartoon shaded doesn't help. Shutting off, Etc. As soon as I change back to my workstation setting, it's gone again. Any clues?

    Window>Style>Customise Style and chnage the viewport background colour, the last entry on the list.
