RESOLVED: Genesis 8 Male Expressions, Dials are Where?

ArtsyDragonArtsyDragon Posts: 682

Hello,

I am trying to use the expressions in this package ( Genesis 8 Male Expressions ) but am unable to locate the expression dials. I understand that there are no icons, I need to use the dials themselves. But in scanning through all the hundreds of dials, I can't find these grouped anywhere.

I checked and did not see a readme. Could someone help me out?

Thanks

They are in the Posing Tab under 'Character Name' - Pose Controls - Head - Expressions for the 'combined expressions' but the phenemes are under Head and more general pose controls that control individual parts are under the part name being controlled.

You'll see once you see the 'Pose Controls' items.

Some Products have presets that change expressions in additiian but not always. For those you usually have to look under the påproduct folder in the appropriate subfolder in the Content Library Tab.

  • I had looked under the Parameters and clicked the character name, then instead chose 'actor' ... there are so many dials. I'm thrilled when I tend to find dials grouped logically but I have not had luck finding any one common item that would let me filter for just this package. Vascularity at least starts the dials with VAS.

I'm using DAZ Studio, the lastest release (123).

Paramters tab has everything you need the Posing Tab - if you don't have it docked it is under Window - Tabs - Posing from the DAZ menus up top.

The Actor group is for shaping, expressions are posing and are under Pose Controls>Head>Expressions in the Parameters pane.

  • That I can understand. Thank you. I'll look again.
