Anatomical Problems

Can somebody tell me WHY, even after applying the "Gen Mats", my Alexandra 8's anatomical elements are still rendering marble-white?  It's only on this one picture, the other times it came out fine!

or any Genesis 8 female pro bundle?   is it true that if I get the Victoria 8 pro bundle but just the base Alexandra, the gens will still work on Alexandra 8?

    edit to clarify something

  • I bought the Alexandra Pro Bundle specifically to get the gen 8 anatomical elements.  Again, it worked fine the first two times I rendered, but now all my gens are marble-white?

Do I need to buy the Alexandra 8 pro bundle to get the elements or can I use the elements from one of the adult Genesis 8 female pro bundle?

Rendering with Iray or 3Delight?  If, as I suspect, the latter, check if they are using the AoS SSS shaders, if so you'll need to clear out the DAZ temp folder of its .tdl files and tray again.

The gens prop and the gens textures are totally separate. To aquire the prop itself, you must purchase any ONE "PRO" bundle. Once you have purchased a pro bundle it will include the gens prop. That's one male pro and one female pro to get both props.

The textures come with the figure regardless of what version you buy (figure, starter or pro) as long as the PA includes gens textures (some don't frown ). When applying gens textures, most figures will apply it automagically if you have the gens prop loaded BEFORE you apply full body texture.

If not, select the GENS, not the figure, then apply the gens texture.

Once you apply the gens texture, you will need to apply any "shine" options or translucency options to make sure the materials all match, otherwise you get an odd looking triangle of mismatch on your figures nethers blush

    Hope this helps :)

Something changed then. Make sure you're using a compatible texture. Not all are.
