G3F Pose weirdness

Hi! I'm having a problem with G3 that I never had with G1 or G2. V4 used to run into it, if you weren't careful, and the poser figures had a bad case of it, back in the old days.
When I click a joint (say a forearm) then use the parameters to rotate it, the arms turn into flat fettucini-like noodles. I noticed that there are bend nodes and rotate nodes, and I was respecting that.
This used to happen if you bent something more than its maximum bend, but on my G3, it seems to happen if I bend it at all.
Can you not make new poses with G3F, and are stuck with commercial pose sets? That would be terrible.

Update. It was a particular figure I ahd previously created with G3F.
What do the bones look like when you activate the joint editor (Tools -> Joint Editor)? Have you tried Edit -> Figure -> Rigging -> Adjust Rigging to Shape?

I'll give that a shot! If it works, it will be better than dialing in the complex character from scratch. Thank you!
It improved things a bit--the forearms are less egregious, but the shoulders are still pretty twisty. I wonder how the joints on figures get "broken" in the first place? I never edited the bones, only played with morph dials.
If it's a morph that deviates much from the base figure, you'll need to create JCMs designed specifically for it (as opposed to just relying on the base figure's JCMs alone).

Thanks! I'll look into that.
