Dropping this one here: I call it "Beware the old man in a world where men die young"

Saw this one previously, on Fb in the private convo about mens content.  Very nice Darwin.  You know me there at Richard McWolff.... I'm talking a bit about my experiences with Fiberhair

I entered this in the "It's Raining Men" contest, I believe it's ok to post here after I have submitted it there?

This is an essentially out-of-the-box (morph-wise, anyway) Michael 8 availing himself of my latest textures/shaders!  I only added the cornea bulge, Adam's apple, navel, and nipples.

LOL  Fantastic.  Hmmmm, I thought Bruce Wayne was pretty hairy, esp the ones drawn by Neal Adams.  WOOF

  • Playing around with Daz. The undershirt did not fit him well since it is for a genesis figure, but I like how it gave it a tore look.

I was never a fan of the comic book, loved him as part of a team book like Justice League but then along came Neal Adams.  And WOOF. .... Bruce Wayne is hot and hairy when out of costume so coulnd't resist.  Thanks to Neal I fell in love with quite a few DC heroes.... Green Lantern, Deadman, Batman and Robin, Phantom Stranger.. so many... on the Marvel side the Uncanny X-Men before the reboot with Dave Cockrum doing the art... Neal Adams was/is one of the best of the best!

I haven't been around the forums in a long time, but I am so glad these threads are still running and I get to see all of your amazing male renders!  There are so many talented artists in here, I hope to learn from you all and try to reach your skill levels.  I still primarily focus on men, probably own just about everything DAZ offers for M4 and working on it with G3M.  I haven't really started with G8M (more of a hobbyist and can't afford 15 new character packs every couple years) and never had any success with the G1 or G2s except for creature creation.  Here are a couple of my most recent works, first with M4s and second is G3M, wearing an M4 skin texture (hope it's ok he's hunting G3F), both rendered with IRAY.

    Elven Power Metal

    Terror in the Night

I've been wanting to do a render of this Anime & Rock mash-up I've seen as Halloween costumes for quite awhile. The contest gave me the kick I needed.

    Sailor Freddie Mercury

  • Updated G8M Superman!

  • Got the chance to use Substance Painter to texture my leather coat.  Came out nice, but can be better.  Powerful texturing tool!

A more lush and fuller beard heart along with a new hair cut :D

    Man Of The Woods

  • That coat is amazing!!!! I love it so much!

Oh, makes sense. Thanks. It's one of the more realistic render attempts I've seen.

Nearly looks like a photo.  Very nice.  OC.. Orange County!  lol

  • Thank guys smiley  I actually made my own skin maps this time using stock images from 3DSK.  Probably why it looks a bit more realistic.  The Daz/PA skins are too clean and perfect.

Nonesuch its render in 2.79 regarding your other post in the art sub.

Wow, I honestly thought that was a picture. I was thinking, "why are they posting photos in a render thread?!"
