Reinstalled, can't use old content

So, it's a little bit complicated, and as a result I need some serious help.

 

So, I used to have a DAZstudio 3.8 installed, with lots of content (characters, backgrounds etc).

Due to PC issues I had to reinstall windows (after backing up all the content I had)

Now, I downloaded the latest version of dazstudio, set the content to be saved on drive D through the installer (not the manager, jsut the regular installer) and copied all my files to the folder I had chosen for the content. However, Dazstudio, for now, doesn't see any content in there.

So, I guess my method didn't work (or maybe the folder were organized for the older version, not sure)

What can I do to make this reinstalled studio to use my old content? Any help would be greatly appreciated

    You would need to add the folder(s) you used as content directories (that is, the foldr that holds the Data and Runtime folders) to DS - a quick way to do this is to right-click on the Daz Studio Formats/Poser Formats headings in the Content Library pane and use the Add directory commands.

    This helped a lot, but it will take me a while to sort things out. Any advice still appreciated
