I just noticed that the links suggested as options to uv mapper are also no longer available. (except for Rizomuv)
http://www.pullin-shapes.co.uk/page6.htm and https://www.unwrap3d.com/u3d/index.aspx are gone.
So which available Software do you guys think is the best to unwrap meshes as of 2021?
The second link works for me.
Something that has not been mentioned recently is all the updates to Blender and the new uvmapping system it has, which is extremely good and free.
..is that in the most recent version? I can only use 2.93 because I'm still on W7.
Weird, I keep getting a 404, even on the main page. will try firefox on it
Currently Blender is 2.93.6, surprised you can still run it as they dropped support for Win 7.. Version 3 drops on December 3 and there are a load of changes coming with it.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blender_(software)
When I click on that link it opens the page for the kitchen appliance that one uses to make margaritas or other alcoholic beverages associated with making 3D models.

or this

I think the part with "(software)" needs to be part of the link or it goes to the kitchen appliance definition.
....my bad, 2.92 was the last version for W7. There was a hack issued on GitHub to get 2.93 to work on W7. 3.0 will have to wait until I update my system for W11.
Yeah saw that bit about the Blender Win7 work around, but a bit dubious about such things like that.. Version 3 does look interesting and seeing what version 2.93.6 can do, will be waiting to see what version 3 has up its sleeves..![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
