Search shows item on sale; item page shows full price.

This is happening a lot lately: I keep finding items (poses, props, sets -- whatever) in the search that show 30% or 40% off, but when you pull up the item's page, it shows it as full price. If I then add the item to the shopping cart, it shows up at full price, so I can safely assume that it is NOT on sale, after all.

For example, right now, the "Horse Stables Bundle" (http://www.daz3d.com/horse-stables-bundle) shows up in the search at 40% off, and "Toe Control for Genesis" (http://www.daz3d.com/toe-control-for-genesis) shows up in the search at 30% off, but pulling up the page for either item shows that they are actually not on sale.

I think the new store needs a tune-up...

I filed a ticket for the stable bundle price disparity; haven't heard anything... In the interim, I took a screenshot of the sales price, and paid the full amount. Hopefully they'll honor the price difference. If not, I'll ask for a full refund and will wait for the next 50% off vendor sale....

One of the main problems since the changeover is there are no sale end dates.

Generally, new releases remain at their intro sale price for two weeks. But even the two week time frame isn't a definite.

IIRC, both products were released in May which would most likely mean their intro sale is over.

I believe that the final word from DAZ was that the new store software either doesn't have the capability to add sale end dates, or that adding them wasn't worth the trouble -- something to the effect that it wasn't gonna happen, anyways.

Sometimes it seems the new store software isn't capable of much besides glitches and hiccups. Sale end dates would be nice but a "not gonna happen" doesn't surprise me.

I do not believe for one minute the software will not allow them to put sale end dates on the products.

Even if that was true - and I am never ever gonna believe that (I mean, the sales seem to end automatically, so the system would just have to display a number it already 'knows') - DAZ DOES give sale end dates for some of their extra special sales, usually in blue text, above or under the product description. They would just need a guy with a calendar and five minutes of free time and they could hand-edit and remove the end dates into / from the product descriptions. The have shown they can. They just don't want to.

We're sorry for the inconvience but DAZ is still experiencing some caching issues within the search results.
