Iray Error during rendering

I've just started having this issue in Iray rendering all of a sudden. Attached is the log file. I don't know what could be causing this, the only thing I can think of is that windows very recently forced an update on my pc. 

I'm pretty irritated to the point where I just want to reinstall another version of windows, but I'd like to see what other people can figure out before I resort to such drastic measures

It's certaily worth checking that the update didn't give you a Microsoft driver isntead of the nVidia one - for example just reinstall the nVidia driver you were using.

Well I tried updating to the latest driver which did not seem to help alleviate the issue at all.

What is happening when you render?

The render screen shows up, the window stays white for maybe 11-15 minutes and my system hangs, then I get the render error. After the error the daz window becomes completely unresponsive and will not work at all, pretty much only allowing me to close the window.

Try completely uninstall the driver, restart the system, and reinstall - apparently the update process can leave debris behind.

I did a complete system reset and it the problem persists so I assumed that it had something to do with the scenes I'm rendering and sure enough it only ever seems to crash when rendering with Genesis 8 in the scene.
