G8 Poses on G3 characters

Hi,

Sometimes (i do try to avoid this) i use a G3 and G8 figure in one scene. When i use a G8 pose on a G3 figure its often ok (just some minor adjustments) but sometimes it gets bad. Most of the time its the arms/shoulders that look crossed on their back. In stead of manualy correcting this, is there a way around this? Or something like a pose conversion so you can mix the G3 and G8 figures? Sometimes a pose pack offers both, but often not.

I could have sworn there was a script floating around here that you could apply to the figure afterward that would do the adjustments for you, but I can only seem to find the G3 to G8 version now when I look for it

https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-to-genesis-8-pose-converter Discobob and Zev0 have a conversion program here on Daz. I bought it a while ago and it works great. I didn't know about the free options.  With this you can use G8 poses on G3, or G3 poses on G8. 

They also have https://www.daz3d.com/v4-pose-converter-for-genesis-and-genesis-2-female-s which lets you use V4 poses on Genesis and Genesis 2. Since I still use those figures I find it helpful and I noticed it's on sale right now. I just need something that lets me go from Genesis 2 to 3 and 8.

Dunno about a free script. Might be worth checking out on Rendo first, since there are a lot of them.

+1 for this ... I converted G8 poses to G3 only the other day. If you like, it will also convert G8F poses to G3M (or any combination of Genesis figures).

There's also this one that works on A3 up to G3 both male and female and it's free. Also allows for partial poses, full poses, create poses, save converted poses and a whole list of other things related to poses. I have used it on G8 with success.
