Wanting to know how to install the newest version DS

Hello,
after a very long time of not doing any 3D, almost 4yrs, I back and wanting to learn DS.
Ive just built a new machine six core 8th generation i7, 32 gigs RAM and nvidia GTX 1060 6gig card, I know it’s not the latest but new to me, can I render Iray well with this rig?
ive been a poser user since version 2 but really want to learn DS. In my daz account I have a genesis 3 starter pack along with some other things. Can someone please point me to a tutorial on installing and the basics of DS?

Use Install Manager - install Daz Studio, then the plug-ins (that you need), then content (or you can isntall much contnt within DS using Connect if you don't want it to be available in Poser). Does your system have just a mechanical HD or do you have an SSD for the system drive? If you have an SSD you won't want content there, so it's going to be worth chnaging the install paths for content in DIM and DS before you start on that stage.
