OT- Cancer is back

I just want to let you guys know what is going on.


I am battling Head & Neck cancer ( since Jan 2011 ) if you haven't known. I thought I had it beat. I found out this morning that the cancer is back. I am going in for surgery on Wednesday of next week (at least that is the plan).


As you know Poserverse is my website, I am going to try to keep that updated and use twitter and facebook to let everyone know how I am doing while in hospital and home recovering.

    Good luck, Fred. I'm with ya, Diag in 87. Was given 5 years (pretty ballpark, huh?) Had 5 plus operations. (astrocytoma) Just do the 'positive attitude' thing - it's worked for me so far.

    I am myself, starting chemo next week so all the best and prayers for a complete recovery.

    I'm sorry to hear it's back. As mentioned already, keep a positive attitude as that's what will get you through this. Keeping my fingers crossed all goes well with the operation next week.

    Here is an update on my condition.
    It spread further than they had originally thought. They had to move the Juggler vein further to one side than they wanted. I now have a cloth in my left arm due to the surgery. So I am going to be in Hospital longer.

    I'm not in the Commons a lot. I guess I should be in here more. Just saw this today.

    I'm very sorry you have to fight this particular battle. Hope all goes well and that you can push it into remission again.
