Utility to Parent other Generation Props to Hands

Is there any utility here at DAZ that would, for example, let me parent a sword made for G3 to the hand of a G8 figure? There doesn't seem to be any autofollow or auto"prop" for props.

    Just load the prop without the figure selected.  Move prop in place and parent in place to the hand.

    Well, except that I might have a figure posed, and then want to add a sword. If I'm using a G8 figure and the sword is made for G8, it will end up in the hands of the figure. Not so if it's a prop for another generation. I'm just hoping someone will build a utility that will let props work between generations.
