Removing The Ceiling Only

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to only delete the ceiling from the WP_Cor_Cflr. However, everytime I select the sub-item, ceiling, and then right click on it to choose "delete", it only gives me the option to delete the WP_Cor_Cflr completely which also includes the floor. I need the floor.

Please, guide me to the right direction.

Do you really want to delete the ceiling, or just make it invisible?

You can make it invisible by clicking the eye icon next to the relevant bone in the Scene tab. In cases where there isn't a bone, but you want to hide a particular surface, you can go into the Surfaces tab and set that surface's opacity to zero.

Beyond that, you can delete parts of an element by using the Geometry editor, but it's rarely necessary to do so.

Another (possible) approach is to use an Iray section plane - with it, you can effectively “slice off” anything on on side of the plane. (Only works when rendering or in Iray view, tho)
