How do I batch save materials into Surface shader presets?

How do I batch save materials into Surface shader presets? does someone know of a script to do this? For example I have many pen and ink textures I have created. I would love to map them onto daz objects. Does someone have a good work flow for this? I am proficiant in photoshop and can make seamless textures but I slow down when it comes to bringing it into Daz. I did some in Bryce but I cant even run that on my main computers anymore...

Thanks in advance....

You can drag-and-drop onto the colour property you wish to assing the map to, from a file browser window, if you are wanting a quick way to apply maps. A script could be written to go through a folder applying maps to a set property and then saving a preset (shader or materials) but I'm not aware of one that is available. Another option, if you just want to change the image in a preset, is to use a text editor to search-and-replace.

Thanks Richard! I understand the first one, though I did not think of the drag and drop so that is very great as having to always navigate to the right folder is quite a pain.

Yea the script sounds good, I may need to start getting back into scripting- I am very rusty (the last scripting I did was actionscript in flash 10+ years ago LOL)

I dont quite understand your reference to using a text editor.

Daz Script has, I believe, the same ancestry as ActionScript (Javascript etc.) - ECMA Script - so the structure at least should be familar.
