Geometry Editor Help Request

Can anyone tell me how to edit the color or brighten the selection color? It's dark red and I have trouble seeing it sometimes. It lights up when you select surfaces, in case I'm unclear.

It used the highlight colour. Window>Style>Customise Style, 2. Accents. Changing that will also affect all other places in the UI that use the highlight colour. You could try switching to a different style just for geometry editing; it may also help, if you aren't already, to switch to Smooth Shaded preview mode (or Wire Shaded, which is the one I tend to use).

  • Unfortunately, that particular Accent is not listed there.. maybe there's no customization for it? Appreciate the other tips though..

Which style are you using? I was able to adjust the Highlight colour (in the Darkside style) to a rather repulsive blue-green, and then restore it to its default colour.

  • Strange. Had to reboot before it took. Originally, using Darkside, my selections of objects were Vomit Acid Green but my selections of polygons in Geometry editor were like a dull, dark red. Now, they both use the same accent. Which was the goal, but strange how they changed. Thanks.

  • Well, that helped a lot.. this was a one piece/surface mesh when I started..
