Genesis 8 Female left eye issue

Hello!

I am experiencing this weird issue when closing the eyes of a G8F. I was not able to determine whether the problem originates from a (resident) setting or a bug.

It happens with all the G8F figures I have: when I close the eyes of the character, the right eye closes normally while the left one remains a kind of open. Please, can you help me fixing this?

Thank you,

AH

If you click on Currently Used what is listed? It looks as if some kind of corrective morph is triggering with the plain figure, instead of only when the morph it is correcting for is on.

    Hey, thank you for answering.

Unfortunately, Currently Used only returns "Eyes Closed".

Is there any procedure to manually reset the morph? And more over, how could it happen that such setting  became default?

I suppose that's not surprising, corrective morphs are usually hidden. Fortunately we can get around that - click the lined button just above the Parameters tab, or right-click on the tab itself, and select Show Hidden Parameters - that should with luck now show at least one more entry. Once you've taken a screen shot turn the command off again (by clicking the lined button/right-clicking the tab) as having Hidden Parameters showing all the time can be confusing.

I did that. No additional parameters showing in the Currently used pane and no highlighted par in other section but the Eyes Closed ones. I was wondering if there's a way to restore the morph by reinstalling some files. Could the Shimuzu's Elite Head Morphs for Genesis 8 Female, have generated the issue? This is crazy, I've never seen something that weird and a total reinstallation really scares me...

    UPDATE:

I've noticed that if I close the L/R eyes separately, the issue doesn't show. There must be something related to the Eye closed slide...? Oh, God...

I don't see this, so it's not the default shape/link that is at issue. If you click the gear icon on the Eyes closed slider and select Parameter Settings what is listed in the Sub-components tab at the bottom:

There's nothing under Sub-Components (No Sub-Components). The picture is about Controllers.

You should have at least the first two entries in my screen shot since they are how the master sldier drives the other two, so if there's nothing in that tab on your system something is fundamentally wrong.

Oh no! Any idea on how fixing this, for example, is there a way to add those controllers or reinstalling is the only way?

BTW, I did a fresh DS3D on a portable and nothing into the Sub-Components and Controllers. I'll try to "uninstall" the components under Controllers to see if there's any conflict but I am afraid I have to start all over.

    Thanks for your time.

Reinstall the content - Genesis 8 Starter Essentials and/or Genesis 8 Female Head Morphs, I can't recall which though i think it should be Starter Essentials.

    Hi, It's me again.

First off, I wish to thank you for dedicating your time trying to help me out.

I think I've finally solved the problem: it was an issue with a morph installed with a character I have received as a gift from another vendor. By renaming the morph file, the issue with G8F left eye disappeared. I wrote on the forum of the other vendor website to see if the creator of the character is interested in getting in touch with me to better investigate the problem and, hopefully, find a solution. I'll keep the identity and other details of the product hidden until the origin of the problem will be confirmed.

My advice to the other DS3D users would be: be careful when installing new characters from non-DS stores because any possible issue might spot out after days (if not months) and traceback is not always easy.

    Thank you,

    Adam.

Author confirmed the bug. A fix will be released soon.

I'll post the details of the issue and its solution as soon as the product will be issued a patch.

    Thank you,
