Face Texture Issue

I'm faily new to Daz but I've been working with it for a while. I'm slowly getting the hang of it but I keep running into a reoccuring issue and nothing I do seems to fix it. Sometimes when loading saved scenes, an actors/models face will be missing texture. It's always just the face. I thought it was because my PC was auto deleting temp files so I changed where I stored temp files for Daz, still happens. It's fixable enough as all I have to do is reload the textures but it gets annoying to have to do it almost everytime I load a saved scene. Has anybody else had this issue/what can I do about it?

Which version of DS (Help>About Daz Studio)? Which figure, or does it affect several?
4.10 pro. It seems to only affect the one model. Elliot (I think) for G3/Michael 7. Rendiring right now so can't be 100% on that but it's definitely a figure based off G3/Michael 7.
Does it say the texture is missing? Or does it just load without the texture?
have you employed an LIE preset on the face and not baked out the texture before saving?
When I try and load it tells me that some files saved in the temp folder are missing. I changed the temp folder where files were kept and it still happens. Not sure why.
Using 4.10.1.123 Pro Edition (64 bit) of Daz Studio
I'm having the same problem and it's really starting to annoy me. Whenever I close Daz, be it intentionally or an error, face textures on models in saved scenes tend to disappear from all scenes of the affected actors. To deal with it I've just been manually reapplying the textures every time I reopen Daz and load a new model. However, I looked through the features and saw I could save hierarchal material presets, so I tried that to see if I could just load the preset in after loading the scene. Did. Not. Work. I get the same error missing the same files. How?
Ahhh, it loosk liek you have added a LIE texture so that after you close DS it deletes the temporary files it creates, so the saved scene you have that references them has links/pointers to an now non-existent file when you rtestart DS and load the saved scene. There are ways around this, you will be glad to know! You can save a material preset, copy the textures out side the temporary folder and point the tetxure in teh surfaces tab to them, or (easiesi of all) buy the script that will, with a sinmple, click do that for you!
Hmm, ok. Sounds like something I can do, at least you told me what the problem is. In case I can't figure out how to link the materials properly, what script would I need to buy? I'm assuming I can find it on the Daz shop?
Are you using Brow Remover on your figures?
I am indeed using brow remover. In retrospect, I can see how that could alter some things. Not sure what to do about it tho.
Edit:
With the note on Brow Remover I looked at the scipt more carefully and saw the material preset settings. I played around with that and got everything saved/loading right. I'm good now. Thanks for the help!
One way you can do it:
What you do is open the folder that contains the edited Brow Remover images in Windows Explorer/File Manager and then copy & rename them to a personal texture folder for that specific character. eg <My DAZ Library>/Runtime/Textures/<My Initials>/<Genesis 8/Male/<Blue Hair Guy>/* & for each diffuse and other maps that Brow Remover has altered (you'll see all of them when you browse to the temp folder Brow Remover is using) you figure which surface on your Blue Hair Guy is using it and copy it to your personal folder with a better more appropriate name than the d6, d5, d3 and so on the Brow Remover uses. Then you change the surface in DAZ Studio on the model from the Brow Remover temp folder image to the copy of that image you made to your personal character texture folder. You do that for all the Brow Remover temp images. When don you then save your scene & you'll probably also want to save a character material preset too so that if you change the scene you won't loose all the work.
