Whiskers Render Problem

Hi there,
I picked up Whiskers for Genesis 3 (https://www.daz3d.com/whiskers-for-genesis-3-male-s) and finally gave it a shot.
When I use the NVIDIA camera mode, it looks perfectly fine.
When I go to render the figure, I get the attached image.
I messed with expanding it but the problem is, the test run works fine but it only messes up with the render (and I haven't seen significant improvements by using the expansion dials)
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Is that an HD character? I read in a different thread that hair scalps have that problem with HD morphs. I imagine that beards could have the same issue if they have something similar to a "scalp". If the beard does have an opacity mapped layer, similar to a hair scalp, try turning the opacity to 0 or deleting it, if it is a separate object. If that solves the problem, you have at least determined where the problem lies. In the case of the hair scalp, the recommendation was to use morphs to enlarge the hair's forehead region. But you've said that whiskers expansion dials did not help you.
You could also try removing the HD morphs from your character (if there is a dial to do so) to confirm that the problem is the HD morphs. Your viewport subD for your character is probably set to a lower SubD resolution than your render subD. (These are set in the Paramaters pane.) That might be why you don't see the problem in the Iray preview viewport. I'm not sure of all the differences that come into play between viewport and actual render.
Thank you! I'll give that a try!
