I just installed the FM Solar System and I am clueless on how to created the space box on your work space . In your content manger library everything is their,
PoserFormats)/Props/FMSolarSystem: The solar system figure, the stars, and more.
(Poser Formats)/Materials/FMSolarSystem: Materials for the stars, earth, and orbits.
(Poser Formats)/Poses/FMSolarSystem: Visibility presets, shuffle planets, and more.
(Poser Formats)/Light/FMSolarSystem: Two light presets.
(Poser Formats)/Camera/FMSolarSystem: Cameras for preset and shuffled pose.

but you have no dome to create the solar system in your work space. Have anyone use this before? I check you-tube and Google for tutorials but nothing about FM solar system.

I'm sorry that I can't be much help, because I don;t own this set, but it says on the Product Page :

A 360° 'starbox' provides full scene coverage and comes with 10 material variations.

That looks as though it should be in the Props folder to me, but it may load as part of the supplied presets for the other planets?

What about asking Flipmode in his thread? Maybe there is something in that thread?

tonyma40, the skybox is in the props folder, next to the other main items of the set.
The preload for the skybox is named 02FMSS_Stars. In Daz Studio or Poser you`d just load it like any other prop.

Maybe this thread has some info that could help you > http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/21547/
It`s about using Skyboxes in Reality/Lux, but maybe your problems in Vue are of similar nature. At least worth a look.

I don't understand, When I click on the prop my work space stays the same. Do I need to purchase an reality environment to be able to see the planets and space? Please help.

I can`t really help you with Vue tonyma40.
The planets are simple Poser figures (.cr2 named as .pp2). The skybox (stars) as well, but with somewhat specific material setups.
The whole thing is huge, so it could also be a camera related issue (eg camera distance).

The set is for Poser and Daz Studio, it may be a good idea to try and load it there first, to make sure your download worked and the files are ok.
If everything was ok there we`d at least know your problem is related to Vue.

No I am not talking about Vue, I find with Vue 11. I am talking about DAZ 3d FM Solar System. The background in my work space do not change when I try to add the space props in my content manager. I will trouble shoot the camera.

Sorry, got a hard time understanding you ...you seemed to say you try to use the solar system with Vue11.

If you load the solar system in Daz Studio, cameras should not be the issue.

For Daz Studio ... did you install to a Poser directory, and are you sure you try to load it from there?
    ( Poser Formats/.../Props/FMSolarSystem/02FMSS_Stars )

No its in the Daz studio format/my library/FM Solar System/content/runtime/libraries / and then you have your menu camera/ lights/material/pose/props. When i go into the props I click on FM solar system and then 02FMSS...rsdsa. The workspace does not change, it should become dark with stars.

if you have it installed to Daz studio format/my library/FM Solar System/content/runtime/libraries , it is installed to the wrong place.

I take it that you installed from the ZIP file yourself? You should open the Content folder, and drop it's contents (Runtime etc) into your My Library folder, and allow it to merge. Do that only if you are using Windows, Mac works a bit differently.

There should already be a Runtime folder inside the My Library folder, and there should NOT be a Content folder.

Or you go to the options for the content library (have the content library tab selected and click the small icon on top of the tab bar), open the "content directory manager" there, and add the "my library" folder as poser format.

Like Jimmy said, the Daz Studio Format path is just wrong....your goal is to get the solar system into a Poser Format directory, and load it from there.
