New install, lots of issues...help!

New install of Daz.

Interface looks horrible.

1) Texture shading looks terrible. No color. Some setting must be set..wrong....

2) The backgrounds (that were empty) used to look like photoshops transparency checkerboard. Now, I only see choices for colored backdrops, I'd like there to be NO background and everything transparent. 

Any ideas?

Or info on what settings should have changed away from the Defaults.

Everything is iray.

P.S. This is Fitness Shower Room by Polish.

Man, oh man. My characters have loaded in full color.

Apparently, EVERYTHING about these materials/shaders/textures is iray so, most likely, it's going to look funky until I engage the iray engine.

Damn.
