Moving and remapping DIM content

I am quickly running out of space on my primary drive and I noticed DIM is still installing content to it. I want to move and remap my DIM folder.

Everything is currently in C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ and I want to move it to another drive (for me it'll be E:\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ ).

If I remap the download location inside DIM to E:\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ and copy everything from C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ can I then safely delete the contents of C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ ?

Also, do I need to remap anthing in DAZ itself?

TIA!

    Yes, you can delete. Note that there's also a Manifests folder, which needs to be left alone unless you manually edit the account ini file to set an overide directory.

    These are just the downloaded zip, not the install files - DS doesn't need them 9in fact, if you don't mind redownloading should you need to reinstall the content, you don't have to keep the zips after installation at all).

    Thank you for the quick reply. There's also a filters file in C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\. Should I leave that too?
    If I need to remap the manifests and filters to E: is the .ini file an easy edit? (I did change the download location within DIM).

    EDIT: I just freed up a ton of space moving the install files. My C drive thanks you!

    The filters folder has the various pre-defined options for the search box (properly the filter box) - it's pretty small so I would leave them.

    To relocate the Manifests for installed content, close DIM, move the folder, and use a text editor to open

    C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts\Account.ini

    then enter the new path in the

    OverrideManifestDir=

    using / instead of \ to separate folders. For example mine is

    OverrideManifestDir=F:/DIM/Manifests

    Perfect! Thank you. I've just reclaimed an insane amount of precious HDD space!
