[Any Transforming Robots?] both pay and freebie?
I mainly want to find the more Generation 1 Transformers style, rather than the current mainstream Micheal Bay style ones.
Thankies! :D

Wow, all by Valandar...he likes robots. :)
Coolies, hope more entries appear, soon, since I have a Transformers comic I have in mind to make one say. Are there any female transforming robots as well?
Also, I need some environments, both above ground and below, to make Cybertron, their homeplanet......think of the surface akin to Curiscount, the planet seen in the Star Wars films, and I also need to find various interiors....futuristic corridors, rooms, etc.....and some plain old rocky caverns and caves for the underground, since Cybertron is supposed have been a rocky planet with the surface covered in cities. Like this http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Cybertron_(planet)
Thankies! :D

I've seen a transforming truck like Rodimus Prime for sale on Renderosity and you can find a few transforming fighter aircraft for free and for pay on a few sites.
I could use some planes, what sites do you speak of?
Was trying to find the sites I sw them on and ended up making this post after trying to find the site that had them and looking for Transformers stuff.
Dragonfly Alternating Robot on Renderosity is one
They have these on Renderosity too I saw that you may be interested in.
Astroburner Alternating Robot
TruckR Alternating Robot
Rodder Alternating Robot (for Poser)
A few others were on Renderosity too if I remember correctly:
One Japanese site I can't find now had several transforming vehicles from various animated series. It had a few transforming Legioss figters from Mospeada and some other transforming vehicles.
One site I can't find now had a Starscream model for poser that was the classic version. You can easily find him a movie and Transformers: Animated versos for Poser on a Google search.
See this thread as it has links to a few freebies like Megatron.

ShareCG has an Optimus Prime for poser.
you could check out the Shifters forum over at dreamslayerartworks... they have some items in the store that transform
Hello TheCastellan.
Yes... we released some free transformers for Poser, like suggested Jay_NOLA and Zawarkal
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2828098&page=1
Optimus Prime G1, Rodimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Bumblebee, Arcee and Megatron and (not listed on Renderosity) Wheeljack

All transformable.
And we have many transformable robots for sale at Shifters Evolution.

Well ... Here are some, for 3D Studio Max, considering that you did not mention what software you use:

Vanishingpoint also did a commercial Galvatron. Though, I'd never seen that shifter stuff before. I'd have to say that it all looks vastly superior to the vp stuff, and it's got the benefit of being free.

clicked that link just sends me to my account page so guess that's been deleted too, good thing I downloaded and installed him ages ago then when it was released (still haven't used it yet) cause it isn't listed on my bought product page anymore either so I would've thrown money away for nothing can't remember how much it was
I did a search and the artist vanishingpoint does have it to buy on another site just for poser http://www.contentparadise.com/productDetails.aspx?id=25726
but most poser stuff seems to work in daz
and the artist has a website with a lot of freebies again mostly seems to be for poser but may work in daz and it is a big selection http://www.vanishingpoint.biz/freestuff.asp
there are some textures for Optimus, Rodimus and Ultra Magnus for a transforming truck
just saw too on their product page on content paradise in robots they have a version of Galvatron
http://www.contentparadise.com/SearchRanked.aspx?searchText=robot&seller=VanishingPoint
optimus from transformers prime

age of extinction prime
http://razziembessai.deviantart.com/art/Age-of-Extinction-Optimus-Prime-DOWNLOAD-NOW-508632004
if you go through this artists gallery there are links scattered around for others too has drawings and other stuff too there but there are links to download various characters again looks like for poser but may still work for daz
Anyone know if any of this stuff is stil around these years later?
The post link is gone for me, too, but it might have had something to do with 'Tyranobot' being a copy of Zoidzilla, from the 1980s 'Zoids' series.
The UK Marvel comics (I understand there was a later Japanese animation show which was completely different and not nearly as good) often had some fairly dark/mature storylines and are mostly collected there:
http://www.zoidstar.com/comics.html
Shame it never completed. The very early stuff is very simplified, but as it went on, it dealt with all kinds of really philosophical issues and never shied away from depicting death.
yeah I thought he was zoids based too but thought it looked more like Trypticon from classic Transformers but like I said in another post it is on another site still for $10
I understand what you mean, but you can draw a direct comparison with even the joint placement, pipes and, especially, colour scheme with Zoidzilla.
Shame, really! Because they could have just done something funky with it, like give it extra guns or limbs or something and that would have made the design both different enough for selling and more visually impressive.
Most of the links provided here are now dead links. Actual transformers figures will likely be extremely hard to find because the franchise may not like people releasing them. Thats seems to be the most logical reason those links are now dead; they may have been forced to remove the items the links lead to.
Perhaps this one is still available. It was released by ShiftersBros, and is called MechaGunship. The model loads as GunshipScattershot.cr2. I looked for a link to find it, but was not successful. My search skills are admittedly not so great, so perhaps one of the others here can find it. I just don't know what site ShifterBros is on. I am providing as much info as I am able to hopefully help with finding the product. As I recall this one was free to download. It included a Pose folder with all the mode presets and several action pose presets, plus a folder with a few texture presets. It is in Poser Formats, and works well in DAZ Studio
.
The attached image has the same model shown in its 3 modes and in different texture materials. The ship mode has a shader and texture mix, I thought would look great. It has two pose presets: landing Gear Up, and Landing Gear Down. The Robot mode is the same as the colors of the Transformer Scattershot that I had, and it uses all of the main Action Pose Presets. The Cannon mode is sporting the default textures the model loads with. The Cannon Mode also has a preset with the cannon closed. I have this model figure in my Runtime.
I hope I have helped here.
