Questions relating to Victoria6/Genesis2

Hello!

I have some questions relating to Victoria6/Genesis2.

Victoria 6 and Genesis 2. There are two names for one figure? Or: Are they two different figures?

Do I need Victoria 5/Genesis1 when I like to buy/use Victoria 6/Genesis2?

It is stated that "Victoria 6 will work great with any of your Genesis 2 female content, as well as many of your go-to favorites from the other Victoria's by making use of the "auto fit" tool."
Does the "auto fit" tool work only in DAZ Studio or in Poser too?

Thanks for helpful hints.

Victoria 6 is a character for Genesis 2. You need Genesis 2 for V6 to work, but have no fear, as Genesis 2 is a free downoad.

AS far as we know you won't need genesis 1 in order to use Genesis 2, and you certainly won't need V5, as that is a character for Genesis 1

Just like Genesis 1, Genesis 2 Female is the base mesh and V6 is a character for that base mesh.
The autofit tool is a Daz Studio plugin.
You do not need Genesis1 or an older Victoria to use Gns2/V6. You do need Genesis2Female to be able to use V6, but you do not need V6 to use Gns2Female.
Gns2Female is a free download that comes with Daz Studio 4.6

    Must...wrap ...head...before..asplode.

    So many questions...

Do Gen 5 figures work with Genesis 2?

What about the Gen 3 and 4 shapes for Genesis?

What about Gen X conversions (which I'm still trying to figure out)?

I think I understand that like Genesis 1, Gen 4 clothes can use the Auto-Fit feature.

What about the "fixes" for V4 and Genesis to make the body conform more naturally in certain poses, are these incorporated in Genesis 2?

The mental hurricane is raging and I cannot get anymore questions out coherently, for now.

    Thanks in advance

Morphs for Genesis 1 will not work on Genesis 2 - though Dimension3D has said he is working on an upgrade from GenX which will allow morphs to be transferred as they can be from older generations to Genesis, but no details on pricing or availability yet.
