Adding Folders to the Files List

Over where all files, lost and found et cetera are I would like to add a folder to put my favorite things. I just realized you can add stuff to folders but I want to make my own to put my favorite x things. How do I create a folder over there?

Those are categories, if you use the matching list under Categories in the Content Library pane you can right-click on the parent category you want to use and select Add Sub-category from the menu.
I have no clue what matching list is.
Just found it. It was hidden. There is a tiny border thickness that I found to click on. It was like one of those point and click games to find stuff and you have no guide to help you.
Where do I add subcategory I have added it into one place but nothing happened.
and I deleted a huge thing by accident even though I right click my thing to delete oh well.
Yeah somehow by deleting my thing I also deleted the thing with all the categories and now all I have is all of x... smh. My thing never showed up either. I am confused.
I added a subcategory to area I deleted and still it does not show up. This hurts my head.
So I restarted daz the files returned... but they did not return to the main area they do not show up so I am sorta back to square one if not negative 1.
Sorry, I'm not following what has happened - what is the current situation?
The current situation.
I did the above. I thought I may have put it in the wrong place so I moved the folder I made but that did not work so I deleted the folder I made but somehow it decided to delete everything in a category which got rid of my entire list when I bring up my content. However, upon restart, it restored the list in the category but not in the main area. I put a crown there recently just to see if I could. I got bored trying to figure out the issue.
Hmm, I'm not sure - short of reimporting metadata - how to get the items back. The things I thought would help aren't
Such is life. I have a lot of things as well. I would love to organize them I have a lot of old content I copied over that I got from various sites and as you know there is no such thing as auto sorting so you have to type names and hope you get it right or scroll through a long list hoping you find what you seek. This barely made much of a difference when it reset. However still would love to make my own folders to sort things myself would make things a lot better.

also personnal change are fixed with "user data" , if you export before lost the list
After resetting it and such the things return to where they go buuut I still cannot customize the list it seems.
So is there a way to add your own files over to the side where I can make my own list and such. Considering I have a lot of freebies that are not categorized.
