why doesn't my animate2 show up anymore?

Have been using it for about a few weeks and all of a sudden its not showing up on my tabs for some reason. I have animate lite in the tabs icon but not the full Animate2 then I try and reinstall it in the normal location in my Daz (pic 1) then in pic 2 I get that message pop up.

Why is this please and what can be done to get it back on the list? pics included of what I mean.

    I believe that you must point the installer to the location of your DAZ Studio installation, Toobis, rather than your content library. The installer must add the plugin to the plugins folder which is found there. Usually, DAZ Studio would be found in C:\Program Files\DAZ3D\DAZ Studio 4, or similar. Since you are pointing it to your content library, it cannot find the correct DAZ Studio installation there, thus the error message.

    Apparently its already in my Plugin list and I activated it (from before) I don't understand why this isn't showing up.

    When you access your list of installed plugins under the Help menu (about installed plugins), does Animate 2 show up with a check mark, a green plug icon and a completed serial code box?

    yessir it does. It was working fine about a week or so back. No idea why this started.

    Well, if the full version of Animate 2 was installed after installing DAZ Studio, it really should not have just stopped working. For some time now, Animate has been included with DAZ Studio and, initially it is the full version of Animate 2 without the need to enter a serial code. However, after an initial trial period (30 days, I believe), the full version reverts to Animate Lite. It sounds as though that is what has happened, but if you have entered a serial code it should not have done so. All I can suggest is that you try re-entering the serial code and restarting DAZ Studio to see if that solves the problem.

    Yes ok I tried what you suggested and now it works :) weird as it seemed to just reset itself back into animate-lite but ok works now. Thankyou :)

    I'm having a very similar challenge after just purchasing. I was able to activate with serial and it shows up in plugins fine and it shows up at the top toolbar.

    However, next to the timeline the only tab that I can get is Animate Lite.

    Can you add an Animate2 tab next to the timeline?

    I was reading up and it says if you use a non-standard folder for your content that would cause problems. Now I just need to find the plugin and move it. ... I think

    That's not showing the serial number as accepted, it'ss till waiting for that - try adding it again (you can get the serial number from your account page), then restart DS.
